Catherine's goal was to attend a culinary arts school or cosmetology school following in her mothers footsteps.
Catherine's mother decided to honor her beautiful daughter and only child by organizing and producing an annual benefit called "Viva La Cat - Rock the Arts". The first benefit took place on October 12, 2008 at the Escondido Moose Lodge. It was a great success. The benefit served two important purposes; to celebrate Catherine's life and to raise money to give scholarships for performing arts, culinary arts and cosmetology schools. A great many thanks for all the support, the donations and the volunteers.
We invite you to support this years event (September 19th, 2009) with a donation, volunteer work or simply by attending "Viva La Cat".

Catherine Irene Peltzer
September 20, 1991 to June 10, 2008
We nicknamed Catherine "Pudden" from the day she was born. Always larger than life and passionate about the things she loved, it was not surprising that she touched many lives during her short time on this earth.
Loyal to a fault, Catherine freely loved her friends, family and her animals. With such an outgoing personality it was not surprising that she was active in theater arts and craved starring roles in school musicals. Her interests did not end there, she also found great joy in baking and making up new recipes which she proudly tried out on her family.
